OUTREACH
Blue Ridge Food pantry helping family
- Global – we are a Covenant Mission Partner with Clara Biswas, a UM Missionary to Cambodia, who leads the STREET CHILDRENS MINISTRY in Phnon Penh.
- Open Doors – we house overnight and provide 2 meals for 50 homeless persons in our Activities Building for 2 to 3 weeks each year.
- Kingsway Prison Ministry – Christmas is provided for 50 children of incarcerated parents
- Pence M.S. Backpacks – weekend “Backpacks” of food are supplied to 10-25 Middle School students for 2 months each year.
- Community Aid Fund – we partner with 4 other Dayton churches to provide benevolence assistance to local families in their time of need.
- Mission Central – we regularly collect clothes for our UM District Clothes and Medical Equipment Ministry that serves hundreds of families monthly.
- Central Valley Habitat for Humanity – for decades Dayton UMC has built and helped to build Habitat for Humanity homes.
